I'm over my sickness... I guess since a day or three ago. Lately my brain has been a bit hyper, though I'm not sure if my body is quite as full of energy. I guess it is; my feet have been tapping a bit more than usual...

Anyway~, it's bed time, so I guess I'll go to bed-nya. Nya, I've been saying nya after certain words recently, but only in my head-nya. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes I wonder what I was thinking, but usually I don't think about it... much--just kinda chuckle to myself.

But seriously, I think I hate colds worse than any stomach sickness, allergies, or injury I've had. Stomach sickness? Just throw-up and it's over with. Allergies? Sure, I want to tear my eyes out, but they go away after a while. Injury? Only hurts for a while, and will heal eventually. A cold? Your throat is sore, almost from the beginning; nose is congested almost as soon; can't breathe when you're eating or sleeping; breathe through your mouth to get to sleep, but your mouth dries out; can't stay in bed long enough to get to sleep anyway, because you're going to the bathroom every two minutes to blow your nose; even if you had tissues, your nose eventually becomes so sore you hate to even touch it; there are no cough drops, because everyone thinks they're perfect for getting rid of every little cough(or to soothe a sweet tooth).

Yeah, I hate colds...

I have a cold. Yesterday, while I was on the computer, I could hardly get anything done because I had to blow my nose almost constantly(We have no tissues; I've used the rest of the roll of tp in the bathroom, filling the bin half-way when it was once almost empty). When I went to bed, I couldn't sleep; I was cold, I put on a sweater. I was hot, I took off my cover. My nose ran until it's legs fell off; I coughed until my throat felt like it would break. It feels like this every time, but my wind-pipe and lungs hurt from all the coughing and blowing. Did I mention I didn't sleep? I may have gotten two hours of sleep; from 12 to 2. The rest of the night I had to keep getting up, or I was worried that my nose would run all over my pillow, so I just turned on the radio and waited, hoping I would fall asleep.

Anyway, mom's back from the store with some cough drops, so I'm going to go see if that'll help any. It's a little late now; I'm not coughing or running nearly as badly as I was before, but my throat is still sore, so I guess I'll give it a try.

Merry Christmas everyone, and happy holidays to everyone else!

So far, I've gotten an I-Pod cover/protector thingy, an I-Pod dock thingy, some luggage, and some headphones. There are two boxes I have not opened yet, but I assume they're clothes, and I'm waiting for other people to arrive before opening them(so they can be amazed by the awesomeness of my (not really) fancy clothes I got for Christmas. ^.^

I'm hoping for pants(I have like one pair for all the shirts I have; not including shorts), but I'll be happy with whatever I get. My I-Pod is being fidgety, and won't turn on even when it's on the dock, but that's not a huge deal.

In the days leading up to today (the past week, in particular), I've been getting pretty roughed up. I stayed a couple days over at my brother's house; had lots of fun fighting each other. I was sore for the next three days or so. Yesterday I went to my other brother, Bryan's house; got to throw the football with my nephew, got hit in the left eye/face area, then elbowed a mailbox pretty hard and got a nice inch diameter scab to prove it. Last night I was entering my loft room(I have a gate to prevent dogs from entering without permission; they can climb stairs, but are too small to think about pushing the gate over, which is just leaning against the banister); I began crossing over the gate, lifting my right knee--I usually lift my left knee first--this time hitting the frame of the door to the bathroom, which happens to be right next to the top of the stairs. I got a nice scab and bruise from that. So now I pretty much have to sleep on my left side, since I have a scab on my right knee and elbow.

All that doesn't bother me too much, though. I'm used to being beat up.
