Yesterday I decided I was going to beat the bus, which I was going to have to wait almost an hour for, then ride for an hour, then wait an hour at the bus station, then ride for another hour before arriving at Lowe's. But, rather than doing that, I decided I was going to intercept the bus on it's way back to the bus station(it comes close to my usual bus stop again before it goes back), despite not having any water and while carrying my English, Math, Psychology, and note books along with all the other extra stuff(calculators, dictionary, etc.). So, when I got out of my last class, I started power walking toward the stairs(yes, the adventure begins inside the building) and fly down the three stories(I was on the third floor, going to the first). I take a right and leave through the front of the "lobby" area. Now outside, I begin half-jogging half-running down the sidewalk on Devalcourt St. toward my first destination, Cajundome Blvd.. About 10 minutes later, I'm pretty well exhausted and it feels like I have a brick in my calves; I press on. I take a right onto Cajundome Blvd. and continue toward Congress St., onto which I take another right, but not before crossing the street. At this point, I've run/walked about one mile. I start down Congress St. for the final quarter-mile stretch, walking every once in a while to take a break.

When I finally get there, it's been about 20 minutes since I left SLCC and I had to wait another 3 to 5 minutes for the bus. I rode about 7 to 10 minutes to the station(it was about 3:27 when I got there), waited there for about 2 minutes for my next bus, then left about 3 minutes later. Since I forgot my cell phone at home, I couldn't call to let my parents know I would be earlier than usual, so I had to stop at =M-Rei's house and barrow a phone(thanks' rei. ^.^). Altogether I saved about 3 hours by not waiting for the bus, but I won't be doing it without water again, and probably won't be going that route again. After looking at "Google Maps", I've found a shorter route(kinda) which may work better(since I got out early it worked out, but if I got out of class right on time it would have been cut close).
